-
- The DISKMASTER utility prints diskette labels on 5" x 1 7/16" label
- stock. This size label just fits on the top of a standard 5 1/4 inch
- diskette. The program supports EPSON, IBM, and OKIDATA printers. Many
- user options are provided. The next few HELP pages describe them.
- FUNCTION KEYS -
- F1 - May be pressed at any time to access the help function. EXIT
- from HELP returns to the program where you left off.
- F2 - Allows the user to change system defaults. The defaults are
- further described in subsequent HELP screens.
- F3 - Reads the directory from the disk in the default drive. NOTE
- that some diskettes have unreadable directories.
- FUNCTION KEYS (cont) -
- F4 - Save comment line #3 to DMASTER.CMT file. This file is auto-
- matically read at start of job if that option is chosen.
- F5 - Print diskette label for information currently entered and re-
- trieved from disk.
- F6 - Clears all non-default data from the screen. This is a good
- way to "start over".
- FUNCTION KEYS (cont) -
- F7 - Exit from HELP. This key is only active when you are in HELP.
- F10 - Exit to DOS.

- DISK MASTER FILES
- Several files are used by this program. If you have a hard disk you
- should load the entire distribution disk to a sub-directory on the
- the hard disk. No copy protection schemeis used so you should copy
- as follows:
- A>COPY *.* C:\[directory name] /V
-
- DISK MASTER FILES (cont.)
- If you have a two drive floppy disk system make a copy of the dis-
- tribution diskette using DISKCOPY. Do not place a write protect tab
- on the copy since the program must write on the disk when running.
- If you have a single diskette system make a copy as described above.
- Place the copy in drive A and start the program. When requested,
- put the disk to be read in A. Place the system disk back after read.
- OPTIONS
-
- DEFAULT DRIVE - The drive letter of the diskette drive the system
- will use to read the directory of the disk to be labeled. If you
- have a single diskette system this should be "A". If you have a
- a two diskette drive system this should be "B".
-
- OPTIONS (cont.)

- READ COMMENT - Comment line #3 is special. It can be automatically
- read (DMASTER.CMT) and loaded on the screen each time the system
- the program is started. Allowed valued are YES or NO. You may make
- changes to comment line #3 permanent by keying a new comment #3
- line and pressing F4.

- must be supplied in this field. The printers are EPSON, IBM and

- you need to make the program work with a different printer, obtain
- a copy of the source code.
- OPTIONS (cont.)
-
